Follow the steps below to upgrade your computer to Windows Pro
Windows 10
- Click on the Windows button:
2. Search for “activation”, followed by clicking on the “Activation settings” button:
3. Click on “Go to Store” in order to purchase a digital license and upgrade to Windows Pro:
4. Microsoft Store should open up with the correct page visible below:
5. You will have the chance to link your Microsoft account to the digital license being purchased and if you don’t have one, you can create one:
6. Once the upgrade had been completed (progress will be shown), the computer will restart and finalize the remaining features missing - do not shut it down or touch it while it is upgrading, doing so might corrupt your operating system:
After restarting, this window be visible when you log in:
7. To check if your upgrade was successful, repeat step 2 shown earlier.
Windows 11
- Click on the Windows icon:
2. Type “activation” in the search bar, and then click on “Activation settings”:
3. Click on “Upgrade your edition of Windows”:
4. Click on “Open Store”:
5. The Microsoft Store should open up with the following, click on “Buy”:
6. You will have the chance to link your Microsoft account to the digital license being purchased and if you don’t have one, you can create one:
7. Once the upgrade has been complete (progress will be shown), the computer will restart and finalize the remaining features missing - do not shut it down or touch it while it is upgrading, doing so might corrupt your operating system:
After restarting, this window will be visible when you log in:
8. To check if your upgrade was successful, repeat step 3 shown earlier.
